Our Mission

To be a leader in promoting the spirit of our city and helping to enhance a progressive business environment as well as to serve as the business voice of Isle and the South Mille Lacs area. The IACC seeks to work with other area organizations, entities and individuals in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation for the overall betterment of our community. We also desire to serve as a business advocate and representative on legislative and regulatory issues that impact our area. We seek to promote recognition of educational achievements through business/educational partnerships. Together, we strive to make Isle a better place to live and work.

The Isle Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for our Educator of the Year Award, recognizing an outstanding individual who makes a meaningful impact on students and our community. Do you know a teacher, coach, or school staff member who goes above and beyond? Help us celebrate their dedication by submitting a nomination. • The Isle Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual “Gala” event on Tuesday evening, March 24 staged at McQuoid’s Inn in Isle. The event is a time for members of the Chamber to meet, elect officers, present their annual awards and announce plans for the coming year.

The theme for this year’s gala was “Spring ‘B’ling” where guests were encouraged to dress in sparkling attire, and many did. (See picture, above) Presiding over the meeting was Chamber President Danie Powell. By unanimous vote, the members elected to keep the six Board members from last year, including Powell as President, Don Dahlen as Vice President, Jayden Biros as Secretary, Linda Dahlen as Treasurer and Parliamentarian, with Daron Stenvold as VP of Marketing and Ronda Bjornson as the sixth Board member.
